Lonely Asylum game info
Asylum used to be the place where inmates or mental patients were held. Whichever of the two, it would be best if you find a way out and get the hell out of there. In escape games that is usually easier said than done and almost always we have the task that needs to be fulfilled. In this game you collect orbs which, depending on the time spent doing it, bring you a certain amount of points. So, orbs are your way out of here.
The story begins in the lobby of an old house. You move using mouse by clicking on the skeleton hands in the corners of the screen. So, this a classic point and click game. While you roam the house you will find all sorts of items and you can keep those in an inventory strip until you need them for something (an old book, secret jar, map, etc...). When you try to go through some of the doors the message saying they are locked will appear. Next thing to pay attention is the color of the keyholes. Only the right color key can open the certain lock. Orbs are not hard to find and there are lots of them. They are represented as a small purple orbs and to be honest at the beginning of the game you have no clue whatsoever why are you collecting them and what is their purpose. It would be nice to have some kind of introduction which explains the goal of the game.
The game uses the same engine Melting Mindz had already used in an Abandoned Escape game series.
